Regarding McCain's "That One" comment...

In last night's town hall-style debate, John McCain at one point referred to Barack Obama as "that one."  In the first debate, McCain was widely criticized for barely looking at his opponent.   "The contempt was palpable, and unpalatable," writes Arianna Huffington on the Huffington Post.

I find Obama's lies about his connections to Bill Ayers far more offensive.  I guess it would have been more proper to refer to him as "the second coming".

Only if that abuse is actually racist. I think even the Far Right will be able to be able to criticise him without resorting to yelling the N word...

I saw the video on Youtube calling him "the One"... Isnt that supposed to refer to the Left Behind series, trying to brand him as the Devil to those superstitious to believe in such things?

Imagine if Obama had referred to McCain as "that one" -- cries of ageism and disrespect would be heard throughout the red states today.

Of course looking at "The One" is racist;  not looking at "The One" is racist; questioning "The One's" choice of associates is racist; questioning "The One's" record (what record anyone can find anyway) is racist;  criticizing "The One's" policy proposals is racist.
