Democrats just want the same old political BS as always, I was glad to see Palin just coming across as natural, no double talk or simple debate tricks to attack your opponent, it was nice to see something fresh.    In my oppinion she won just for that fact

Really. And me being a Libertarian, that says a lot. AND i would have voted for Ron Paul if he wasn't drowned out by Neo-con bushites.

Now, after the debate DID take place, I still don't get what it is that upsets so many people about Palin. If you go by 'looks', I suppose you might choose Biden. After so many years of practice, he's turned fooling the public by looks into an art form. But I was disgusted with his constant attack on the Republican party. In fact, I was not nearly as impressed with this debate as the presidential one, because of that, esp. with all the 'talk' about bipartisonship. He certainly did not desplay any of that here. And his constant referal to the Bush administration, trying to attach Sarah and McCain to it, purposely aiming at the "I hate Bush" crowd, was so obvious, I thought it was pathetic. I wanted information, not campaign slogans. His pathetic attempt at 'being real', in competition with Palin, didn't impress me either. I would sooner vote for someone who stumbles the word 'nuclear', but has an honest heart, than a showman like Biden, who lies through his teeth just to get votes. Nope, this debate only solidified exactly what I already knew to be true.

There is no question that Biden did better in this debate.  Palin was embarrassing.

Right, deciding not to answer a question and instead jumping back to the "energy" topic was a true frustration to watch and listen too.  Okay, we know you know about energy what about everything else Ms. Hockey Mom? The energy topic got really old last night.

Absolutely, and whomever would be foolish enough to vote for that ticket is a fool as well.

Biden lied, too.  There were several, the most glaring being his denial that Obama said he would meet with Ahmadinejad.

Uhmmm, no.  She never really answered a direct question.

Sarah didn't impress me at all.  She answered every question with her stock 2-3 answers.  When that didn't work, she got cutesy again.  She brought nothing to the table.  At least she didn't make a fool of herself.  Biden won by a landslide.
