Cat fight: who should play the role of Professor Henry Higgins in the remake of "My Fair Lady"?

Both George Clooney and Brad Pitt are keen to play Henry Higgins in the upcoming remake of "My Fair Lady".

Says Clooney: "It's sort of become an intense competition between us now and it just keeps escalating... we're both so angry we're not even in contact any more".

I choose because he might be good as the Proffesor from India - they should find Eliza first and then find a suitable Higgins to match. The Producers will have a hard time trying to undo Harrison.

I can't stand George Clooney. He's the unimaginative person's idea of classic and classy.  I find him smug and annoying and even skeevy.

Neither of them are old enough. How about Pierce Brosnan?
