Sep 18th, 2008 | Biden Palin Debate survey

Who will win the Biden-Palin debate?

Sarah Palin told Fox New Channel's Hannity & Colmes today: "Sen. (Joe) Biden has tremendous amount of experience. I think he was first elected when I was like in second grade. He's been in there a long, long, long time."

"So he's got the experience," Palin added. "He probably has the sound bites. He has the rhetoric. He knows what's expected of him. He is a great debater, also. So yes, it's going to be quite a task in front of me."

Palin and Biden will debate Oct. 2 at Washington University in St. Louis.

That's not the way the system works sweetie, the more you earn the less % of gross goes to taxes. A true Republican would know that - they enacted the tax law revision. Warren Buffit's secy pays a higher tax % than he does. LOL

Well good, you'll be able to do your patriotic duty and cough up even MORE in taxes, then.

I cannot vote here, the option I need is not there - but for those who know, would the result of the debate improve the candidates chances at the poll? Does the college vote for the Vice Presidents as well? Or does this debate decide whether the Vice Presidential candidate could be help up as better than the Presidential candidate he or she runs with?

Why even watch the debate, you've already made up your mind. I thought the Charley Gibson interviews were quite revealing - she doesn't understand enough about  the world to be a valid candidate. Oh, i've probably paid more in taxes than you grossed, LOL.

28% is what LOW INCOME people pay elsewhere in the developed world. People doing work sweeping streets, stitching shoes and working in McDonalds (of course, the minimum wage is higher too). And the benefits of government protection in the event of unemployment and medical incapacity are much better too.

Not much.  Just started my 23d year in the Army (including duty in such beautiful locales as Panama, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Haiti, and Iraq 3 times), been a volunteer fireman since I was 16 (in RI, NC, CA, TX), I'm a Scoutmaster (even though I don't have any sons), and oh yeah, I never thought I'd get rich in the Army, but I must be since the Gov't confiscates 28% of my pay every month (even though I give about 4 times as much as say, Joe Biden, to charity every year).  That's me, just another "free rider" who doesn't think there's anything patriotic about raising taxes.

For you "free riders" who ignore the cost of education, SS, police, roads, i guess it is a free ride when you pass along the costs. EVERYONE pays the toll, unless you think you're an elitist. What do you do to "chip in for America"?

Short of one of them having an Eagleton like meltdown, almost no  matter what happens those on the right will say the Governor won, those on the left will be just as sure that the Senator won. (Interesting factoid about why you can't really say someone "won" the debate: During the one debate held during the 1960 election, according to Gallup people watching on TV thought Kennedy won by a large margin, those who listened on the radio said Nixon won by a large margin.)

Biden actually said it "patriotic" to pay more taxes.  It's going to be like shooting fish in a barrel for Sarah.
