i personally think animal cruelty laws should be severely stiffened...if someone will harm an animal they will harm a person/child....when the michael vick story broke....and i am not ashamed of what i am about to say....i thought they should grease him up with hamburger meat and toss him in a pit full of angry hungry pit bulls....so far i have rescued 2 dogs....one, female chihuahua, was kept inside for 12 hours a day and rarely let out...the other, male rat terrier, was kept in a play pen for 10 hours a day no food or water, let outside after being fed and then put right back in the play pen...i am still working with him as he is only 7 months old... i also have one dog i raised from the time he was 6 weeks old...he has never known abuse...
