what do you consider the hollywood celebrities, that are in obama's pocket, if they would not be considered elite in your book?....and if you think obama has raised as much money as he has only from the average american you are nuts......and yes the average american is donating small amounts to mccain....

While McCain is getting HIS money from the ACTUAL elite, the super rich, to the tune of $250,000 for the "innovators" and $500,000 for the "super innovators". You hardly see the poorest families scraping twenty dollars together to help HIM.

WRONG....obama is getting quite a bit of his money from liberal elitists and hollywood celebrities...oprah, babs, bon jovi, and the list really does go on and on....if you look at michigan, usa as an example....obama wants to do the same thing....which has caused a one state recession....do some reasearch...

According to the Independent Newspaper in the UK, which is not politically biased, 93% of Obamas funding has come from the little guy, with amounts of $200 or less. Now John has his hand very deep in the pockets of the Oil companies, and big business, such as the financial institutions that are in so much trouble, so who is he going to feel an obligation to? The funniest part is him running adverts saying Obama can't run the economy, with money partially from, wait for it, Lehman Brothers!

They gave loans to people who couldn't afford them, but they didn't care.

seems these donations helped to keep fannie mae and freddie mack out of the spotlight and out of trouble....until the seriousness could no longer be hid...
