Seems like it would allow you to create "frankenstein" gadgets that do exactly what you want -- without waiting for a company to put "the right pieces" together. Something that phone-making companies still haven't done quite right.
Think of it as the anti-iphone. If iphone is one smart and powerful (yet small) computer that can do everything, modu is a dumb (yet small) device that can barely do anything and relies on buying more gadgets.personally i want less but cooler gadgets in my life. the holy grail is a machine that is a phone, medie player, computer and everything, which i can just connect to speakers, a keyboard or whatever. the iphone is on its way. modu isdoing the opposite.

I'll have to know more. But the way i see it, modu will want to charge me extra for things i get "inside the box" as it is.
