oh great more conspiracy BS...just so you know phil, not every state requires ID to vote...we do here in alabama....no valid id no vote...democrats are the ones that want people to be able to vote no matter if they are illegal or imaginary...
what about the head of Diebold who mentioned in a speech that he would do everything he could to get Bush elected? What about the butterfly ballots that had old Jewish couples living in Florida voting Buchanan? The ACORN stuff seems to be small beans when you consider the top down corruption that causes this sort of thing to happen. It is far easier to invalidate a whole bunch of legitimate votes than to register, one by one, hundreds of fake voters. And even if those voters were registered, who was going to actually use those votes? Who was going to stand up at a voting booth and say "yes I am Peter Pan, I am Scooby Doo, I am Snow White, can I vote now" What this could be was an abuse of a bounty system, where bounties are paid for the number of voters you register. People fill in a bunch of forms under Moby Dick or Jimmy Hoffa or Mickey Mouse, they get counted, and, at five dollars each or whatever, after filling in 20 of these things, you have made a quick hundred. And these voter registrations are useless, because if Mickey Mouse went out to vote on election day, they would automatically be challenged.
You can thank that crack Governor Jennifer Granholm and esteemed mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick for Michigan's economy being in the toilet, by the way.
it reminds me of the now convicted son of a democrat politician that went around slashing tires, to prevent republicans from voting....it also reminds me of the scandal where crack was traded for votes....it also reminds me of the voter registration fiasco that had people like peter pan and snow white registered to vote as democrats...
ACORN, one of the most corrupt organizations there is. I understand they're under investigation again. I can't believe it, you're already making up excuses for having lost the election.
See also the felon purge in Florida... phony get out the vote drives saying "if you cant vote on tuesday you can vote on saturday", those Diebold machines that ticked the Bush box when you pressed the Gore button on the touchscreen...
That is such crap. There was so much voter fraud in the 2004 election by the Democrats, everything from vandalizing vans they feared would bring Republican voters to the polls, to handing out cigarettes to homeless people in exchange for their votes for Kerry. I expect that same thing to happen this year.
And how many genuine occurrences of this have happened this century? It is really not practical to do this on a wide scale, because one person can only go to one voting booth one time, then they have to go elsewhere. A really really determined person with a limitless supply of pets and dead people can only vote 20 or 30 times maximum, and if they do this they risk prison, and there are people challenging in all the polling places these days. So even if Fluffy Tucker somehow gets onto the roll(tricky with you needing ID) chances are they will not be able to vote. -I didnt know homeless people were disenfranchised in the US...
Some crappy biased leftist midwest rag writes some bullshit story & you people rally around it. I feel sorry for anyone loseing their home, but that won't prevent them from voting. You're more ignorant then the idiots that worte this trash.
I heard about this. Also, I heard this on the Thom Hartmann show, but I haven't verified it: those who are likely to vote for the Democrats, and especially absentee voters, have been receiving voter registration forms from the McCain campaign. These forms have phoney P.O. boxes to send the registration to. They seem to be doing this to try to try to invalidate as many Democratic votes as they can. What does it say about the Republican platform if they have to try to cheat to win an election?
Maybe Walmart will change this strategy by allowing voters to register there. Both Parties cater to their established voters - a new demographic could be formed, one with no ties to local political bastions.

You'll be hearing a lot about ACORN in the weeks to come, probably not on CNN though.

The past eight years is all I need, Michigan Messenger was just one of many.
You're going to have to do better than the left-wing Michigan Messenger, I'm not buying what they're shoveling.

Even if you handed out whole cartons of cigarettes, you still could not guarantee that they would vote for your guy.
Vans and cigarettes, you've got to have something better than that.

Do you ever take a breath between rants Phool. Go back to bed. It was nice & quit for a while without your incessant blabbering.

Don't worry, ACORN will more than make up for it by dead people, homeless people, pets, etc..
