This is about republicans in general, and in general, some are capable of admitting their mistakes, but the Neoconservatives, by and large, are not.

This is crazy.I cannot think of an example of either party making an apology or admitting unanimously as a political party that they're wrong. Not from the politicians' stand point anyway. This happens with voters however probably atleast once in life, and probably most common in the Baby Boomer generation to switch from democrat to republican, perhaps upon making money later in life.
