I can remember the exact dates of some things I have done too, Especially the things that were life changing. Registering for selective service was not all that important to Obama because he didnt end up serving in the military.
I remember August 24 1985, the day I registered for selective service. I also remember it was stupid, because on July 1 1985 I enlisted in the Army. I also remember May 24 1989 the day I got commissioned as a Second Lieutenant.
1.) Privacy: IMO everything except for numbers 6 and 8 could be released with very little to no risk of anyone's privacy except for his own. Although, I'm not sure if a client list is even considered private. Oh well, I'll give it to him anyway. 2.) Identity theft/fraud: Those same 12 items would most likely not further enable someone to steal his identity if they were already inclined to do so. There are other ways to obtain someone's personal information that do not include any of the items mentioned above.
But do you remember the exact year you did anything 25 years ago? I sometimes have trouble remembering which radio station I worked in which year during the 90s.
... Remember how they were saying all this stuff about Bush? HIS Texas Air National Guard records vanished. Everything that showed what he was doing during his time in the military during the Vietnam War. -Many of these things contain sensitive information, and somebody who had access to his client list (he was a civil rights attourney) would be privy to information that could harm certain members of the general public. Other information would be a boon to people who are likely to commit identity fraud or theft. And still more information would have been lost, either in the filing system, or possibly in floods or fires, or a dozen other occurrances. These records are 20 or 30 or 45 ears old.
Osama-obama doesn't know how many states there are in the USA, he can't remember if he's a Christian or Muslim & now this. This guy is like Swiss cheese, full of holes. I hope he gets disqualified.
He had to release the Selective Service Registration. When he gave a softball interview last week he mentioned he thought of joining the military when he registered for Selective Service in 1979. There was no selective service in '79. When the conservative blogs starting pointing that out his campaign announced he forgot what year he was going to enlist and then released his registration records.
Me too. He's hiding something or everything. What a con artist. Cheap trickster. Snake oil saleman comes to mind. All show, no go. I hope all this comes to surface & light before the election so he has no chance of getting elected. Not that he has a chance now either.

Actually I will give him credit, he did release #5, his Selective Service Registration. The rest of it is still sealed, or not made available.
