Is anyone aware that Canada is currently having federal elections?

Just curious to know since I haven't heard anything from users here.

I miss it by a little more than two weeks...so close. I'm interested to see who is going to win, because Stephen Harper called this election early because he has a better chance of winning now instead of after.

Will you be voting this October then? (I just went over to Wikipedia to learn a little about your National Elections.)

It surprises me that the Right is painting Obama as such a liberal. I mean, he's no Dennis Kucinich (my first pick.)

If you are scared of Obama because he is too liberal... You have a BIG shock in store if you move to Canada, or any other place in the western world for that matter...

Vote wisely in Canada... If Obama wins I may have to move up there!

Canadian press coverage is taboo for our media. They concentrate on OUR election, Iraq/Iran, and FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt). Which is why i choose the internet as my news source.
