Please indicate how painful it was to lose a loved one to a competitor, but you later thought it was actually a blessing in disguise:

Once in our life time, we may lose someone very dear to us, someone we really, really love to a competitor perhaps a close friend, and it hurt us so badly but contrary to our sentiments we later recovered, and thought it was really a blessing in disguise after all.
