Is this a joke? The only one that speaks about her policies and ideas is the lady herself. Thanks to the Republican National Convention stage.Who cares about her kids, enough already!

I wouldn't have learned anything about her career and policies if I had not actively sought these things out. A passive consumer of news would only hear the personal "infotainment" stuff. The McCain campaign benefits from the distraction of the culture wars, so I guess she might just be a good thing for him after all.

Given the sad fact most voters are only concerned about the persona surrounding a potential electee, i'm not surprised. Issues take a back seat when most assess a candidates background, as if the Iranians or North Koreans give a shit about Sarah's child being pregnant and not married. Think Putin cares if she is Mayor of a small town in Alaska?

Well If "Both" was an option I would have voted there - because earlier in the week I perused her professional and poitical life; so by the time the personal life came up for public scrutiny I was already fairly convinced that she as an American Women has the capacity to lead Congress as VP.

Doesn't it make you feel uncomfortable that we know so much about her private life and very little about her actual policies and career?
