What's your favorite 1960's psychadelic rock group?

The 1960's was a very important time for rock music. Counter-culture and pop-culture fused, jazz, rock and blues music melded and heads were blown.....

I think sections of Revolver, Sgt Pepper, and especially the White Album are, I guess also Magical Mystery Tour too, but they almost seemed to be forcing it.

The constant misspelling of "psychedelic" is really bugging me.

You should have had Os Mutantes as an option...

If I wanted "psychadelic" I would go for Pink Floyd, but the Beatles and Hendrix are better generally.

Are the Beatles really considered psychadelic rock?

Bm, are you basing this on the best psychadelic rock group? I find that although the jams were more drawn out with the Band of Gypsies during their short-lived career and the musicians more experienced, the music was much less psychadelic than The Experience.

If it were The Band of Gypsies instead of The Experience, I would have voted for that.
