Well if the spider and the frog are smart and know what is best for them they will listen to the turtle who is the oldest and therefore most experienced traveller and therefore the wisest.Turtles know man, turtles really know.....
I think the spider gets his way just barely most of the time.But the what usually happens is that the spider and the frog argue and can never agree on which place.However the unfortunate turtle has to bare the burden of both of them and gets bossed around by them and told where to go.
