Some political analysts predict Sarah Palin will withdraw her VP nomination to clear the way for McCain's real candidate

Some political analysts think in light of the recent negative publicity around her VP nomination, Sarah Palin will withdraw from the Republican campaign. She'll state 'personal reasons', and will allow McCain's original VP pick to heroically step up and "save the day".

"Intrade, an online prediction market based in Dublin, created a contract Tuesday morning on the likelihood that John McCain will drop Palin as his running mate. After opening at a probability of just 3%, the odds on Palin being cut from the ticket climbed to 18% around 9 a.m. and have since settled at around 12%."  (CNN)

Well, I wouldn't be comletely shocked.Maybe a little bit disapointed.Shoot, it'd make sence with all of the stuff that she seems to have going on in her life lately, but I'd miss her. Fascinating character.

I think they called her the Barracuda as a high school Basketballer; that must mean she perseveres in her human endeavors.

This whole thing reeks of when Bush tried to put Harriet Myers in the Supreme Court.  There's going to be some last-minute switcheroo.

I can't wait til she debates Joe Biden. LOL  I also think the RNC knows this and will allow Joe Leiberman as their true representative for VP.

She seems too tenacious for that. No, she will stay as long as she possibly can, which could be up to 16 years, if elected...
