Abstinence only education is useless anyway. Parents are responsible for keeping tabs on their kids, not some program the school system implements.
It is simple. If you teach kids abstainence only sex education, you get the reaction: They want us to not have any fun and they do it anyway. If you teach them how to stay safe, and the full dangers of not staying safe, then they are fully informed, and if they end up having sex, they will take precautions, and avoid the kind of situation that Governor Palin's daughter is in now, where she has the added responsibility of a child before even graduating high school. Having a child makes going to university and getting a full education so much harder.
Says more about the way parents raise their young. Evidently the daughter's hormones rule...
