Michael Bay is probably the best of these choices. Aronofsky would be a horrible choice. I sorta liked Pi and Requiem for a Dream for the kind of movies that they were, but I wouldn't want that director touching a high-budget sci fi horror. J.J. Abrams does Lost well enough, but I don't think the Alien films need enigmatic character drama.
I think there are definitely better choices for the new Alien, but whoever does direct, I'm going to see it no matter what and most likely love it too. Alien Resurrection wasn't too good so I'm hoping for a really good return to the franchise and that's something the Alien vs. Predator movies haven't really done. If you want atrocious acting, see the second Alien vs. Predator.
