Which will be a bigger disaster?

The Republican National Convention slated for today, September 1 in Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota has been scaled down in size, in order to deal with the oncoming Hurricane Gustav, which is about to bring recently recovered New Orleans back to it's knees.

President Bush and Vice President Cheney have explained that they will not be attending the Convention in order to deal with storm response. A matter that caused them sharp critiscm in 2005 with Hurricane Katrina.

how would you explain Bush not being properly informed? Bush has had TWO major disasters happen during his term- 911, in which he simply sat there for 20 minutes reading a childrens book, and Katrina, where he didnt even know basic facts that anybody with access to a TV could have found out in a few minutes.

The blame can be shared right down the line, but the local authorities found themselves hamstrung by bugetary restraints and the fact that much of the National Guard and the Army Corps of Engineers were diverted to an unneccesary war in Iraq. When you consider that Bush, Cheney, and Rice were not even DOING anything for DAYS, they exacerbated the problem far more than was necessary.

The war in Iraq and neglect of New Orleans during Katrina were ENTIRELY Bush's fault.

BUSH was the gar bigger disaster, had Gore or McCain been voted in in 2000, then this century would not have been HALF as disasterous.
