I have seen about a 5 or 10 minute clip with the music playing with video of OZ and it runs really nice with it... I don't know of it is true for the whole album.
Alright, I admit it. This is the kind of straight-faced satire that appeals to my warped sense of humor. In the same vein, I recently heard a rumor that Obama's acceptance speech was fake. He was actually lip-syncing the speech of a cute little girl from China.
ahhh! You've beat me to it Drowlord, I wanted to be the women with info.Hahaha, Bcc, you've gotta be doing this on purpose.....you're WAY off my friend. Drowlords' got it right. I've tried this too, it kind of works I guess, to some degree, or seems to if you've even enough psylocibin! The Urban Myth option works I think.
Eh? "Staring at the cover?" I've tried playing the Dark Side of the Moon in sync with The Wizard of Oz. I was impressed by how well the music connected with the movie. Until the next CD in the changer queued up -- Alannis Morisette's Jagged Little Pill... Which also seemed to sync up with the movie really well, with an almost-random starting point.
i haven't even ever heard of this urban myth, but I used to have Dark Side of the Moon on cassette. haha
Dude, that's like totally true. If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense. ;-P

No, you've got it backwards. You're supposed to play the Wizard of Oz soundtrack while looking at the Pink Floyd album cover art.
