I have a quad-core 2.4Ghz CPU, 4 GB of high speed memory, a 6-disk 1TB RAID array on a 166 Mhz 64-bit PCIX controller, and dual 16x PCI-e SLI-enabled NVidia 9600 video cards on my primary home workstation. Microsoft Vista chews up whatever resources I throw at it, and leaves me staring at a lame rotating circle cursor half the fucking time... even when I'm typing up a blog in notepad. Win95 was more responsive than this on 1/100th the CPU, 1/100th the ram, 1/1000 the disk space in a non-raid config and a generic video card. It's virtually impossible to blame anything BUT the operating system, when you look at how much hardware has evolved over time, and yet how pathetic UI is.
Lols...
When Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck, it'll be vacuum cleaners...

I'm just guessing....
For me, it happens when I have about 15 windows open on different pages...
