I never had problems with having blood drawn until I was around 15. The needle somehow came separated from the syringe, and my blood started squirting out of the tiny metal tube. I don't know why that freaked me out, but I hate watching a needle go in my arm, ever since.
When I was 17 years old, I only donated blood because the two women I love the most needed (my biological mother and adopted mother) because its a very painful process for me since my veins are so stubborn. I just listened to my mp3 player. I cannot do it now because of my anemia and my ulcers. :(
Interesting. To me needles are just terrifying. They really are. Which is interesting because when you think about it they're not THAT painful, ya know? what is it about them? Mayb the fect that you know there's going to be SOME blood or SOME pain even if minimal. I mean anything is more painful, slamming your finger in a door or window, slicing yourself with a tin can, stubbing your tow even! But these you don't see coming, so the needle you automatically associate with pain and or blood.
True
If i did i would deffantly watch.
give my blood! what for free?

I have NOT got enough "clean" blood to give, I guess so I shy away from having my blood drawn
I have "great veins."
