Two men who today called themselves "the best Bigfoot hunters in the world" failed to produce convincing evidence at their press conference in Palo Alto. Matt Whitton and Rick Dyer claim to have found the corpse of a 7'7", 500-pound "man-ape" in the Georgia woods.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports: "Of three samples in a preliminary DNA test, one came back inconclusive, one contained traces of human DNA and one had traces of opossum DNA — probably from something the creature ate."
Whitton and Dyer did not bring the body of the creature to the press conference. Some Bigfoot experts (yes, there are Bigfoot Experts) claim the body is the real deal, while others compare the "hoax" to an "alien autopsy."
