I have friends that spend a lot of time in China (Chinese by birth, they own a factory in china and import products). They tell me that the Chinese only claim to be communist. In most ways, they are hyper-capitalistic at a level unconceivable to an American. Replete with the lying, cheating, monopolies, etc... which we generally consider to be the ugly side of capitalism, and legislate to curb.
