The USA is a "good" nation and I take take offence at Drowlords oppinion. Just as in any country there are "good" and "bad" people. When we say good and bad what we are really doing is putting our values on to other peoples morals or their own values. Good or bad, this is what makes America a "good" place, the freedom to think and express yourself they way you want to, not the way others think you should. It's a practice that is used by many many countries today. But back to the original question; the state of the world today go's back to September 11th. These types of acts are what really cause unrest in the world today. The worlds problems can't be solved by a either political party in the US, The world has become more globally influenced and I think future generations have to think on that level, all nations working together as one, and maybe one day have no nations at all... but we all be citizens of earth, all brothers and sister living together sharing one planet peacfully.
Perhaps Drowlord is correct, but the reality is that the USA has a lot of influence in the rulership of the world today, and the US election result is not only important for the people of North America - but also for the people of the world including us in the South Pacific here in Fiji Islands. If Americans are inherently hostile and self-indulgent (by degrees surely), then the choice is basically a question of the best of the options availble to us isn't it?
We are not a "good" nation, because we are not good people. Our elected representatives are going to share our values, which are inherently hostile and self-indulgent.
lol, Coalition of Both? thats like oil and water.
