The better band name is...


In a recent interview with Nylon magazine, hot alt-rock band Black Kids discussed how their name came from reading an article where a woman kept complaining about some "kids who play basketball" who bothered her instead of saying "black kids."  So while the lead singer wanted to go with Kids Who Play Basketball, other band members thought that was "lame."


The better band name is...

I really do love their music, but I don't feel like it sums them up very well at all.
