Should the international community force Mugabe out?

Zimbabwe's president, Robert Mugabe, won the country's election after the opposition backed out of the election siting the use of brutal force and violence against the opposition members.

Here's a New York Times editorial piece on Mugabe:

"The brutality with which Robert Mugabe stole Zimbabwe’s elections last month embarrassed even his usual friends, allies and enablers. Unfortunately, it has not embarrassed them enough. Unless Russia, China and South Africa can be shamed into bringing real pressure against Mr. Mugabe and his henchmen, quickly, he will settle in for another term of disastrous misrule. (source)

It's hard to imagine any kind of action that could be taken to fix Africa.  It's clear that foreign aid has only made their issues worse.  It's abundantly clear that foreign education efforts won't fix them.  It would almost have to be extremely violent and involve crushing anyone in political and military leadership in many African countries.  I can't imagine a diplomatically-minded country investing time, money, and lives in such a profit-less venture, when it could only possibly result in a loss of political esteem.
