Are movie tickets still a good deal where you live?

ABC News reports that the average cost of a movie ticket in the U.S. is now $7 -- adjusted relatively little for inflation during these difficult economic times.  (The average price of a movie ticket in Manhattan, however, is $11.)  Full ABC News story here.

I went bowling last week.  An hour of a bowling with small cheese pizza, burger, and a roast beef sandwich totalled $100 for two adults and two small kids (6 and 7).  And they closed down our lane on the 10th frame, before the last two players finished.
