Look at it this way. If we could actually meet him, we could finally know if he was actually a prophet or just gifted with a good attitude compared to those who were listening to him.
I seriously doubt that Jesus ever existed. It would be a paradigm shift for me if he did, and a discovery of paramount value if he was actually divine.
