David Bowie at the Dick Cavett show, December 1974. What's going on here?


I stumbled upon this David Bowie interview from 1974, and was amused to see the performance he's putting on: nose sniffing, crazy vampire laugh, messing with his cane. He come off as such a normal person in interviews today. It got me thinking: was it all an act, or was he really like that in the 70's?

you can tell it was too  much coke by the way he kept sniffing and rubbing his nose...
