Two Muslim women at Barack Obama's rally in Detroit on Monday were barred from sitting behind the podium by campaign volunteers seeking to prevent the women's headscarves from appearing in photographs or on television with the candidate.

truth be told, it was Obama himself who ousted those hags, he plain didn't want them around, afraid one was gonna off him from behind, in the name of religion of course.

Obama's press people probably made the call since he's trying so desperately to distance himself from anything & everything Muslim. That wouldn't of made a very good publicity photo for him. Hopefully people will seek out the truth about Obama & his racist wife.

A lot of the American people are so eager to accuse Obama of not being a real "American", that they probably felt this would give the idiots more gossip to wag their tongues about.  It is discrimination, but not necessarily on Obama's part, but rather the American people.  Bush has done a good job with his fear tactics.  sigh

Yeah, it's discrimination, but I see the necessity of it. That had to be a tough call.

Unfortunately, they wouldn't know if they were stupid or McCain supporters.  But, statistically they were not Obama supporters.

How would the campaign volunteers know this?  The two women were at the rally with two men dressed in business suits.  They were asked to sit behind Obama in clear view of the cameras, but their companions in headscarves were asked to move.

Anybody over the age of 14 has heard about the "controversy" with Obama.  Most likely, they weren't Obama supporters.

I really want to hear your input on how this is not discrimination!
