Can you make a good cup of coffee?


This morning while at work (3 am) I tried to make myself a cup of coffee to stay awoke.......it didn't work. Tasted like s**t with sugar on top, totally disgusting. Is there a secret to making a good cup of coffee?

I don't drink it myself, but I make it for other people quite a lot.
