This is the Security Camcorder Clock (SI401), available from The Sharper Image. It has a hidden digital camera inside and will film 12 minutes of video if its motion-detector senses anyone entering your room. Isn't that something? There's a review of this item at Uber Review, which is where I found it.

Clever clock. (I didn't know you had a monsoon season out there in Arizona!)

Since it's somewhat related, we have a clock in the bedroom that automatically sets it's own time.  I got it since it holds power and if power goes out (Like it does often here in monsoon season) it will reset itself, and it also holds the time and alarm time in memory and will emit an alarm even when the power is off.  That being said, the time it sets it too is five minutes behind everything else in the house, which corresponds with the changing of shows on tv, bleh
