Is Rupert Everett truly sorry for calling soldiers "wimps?"

Actor Rupert Everett recently called soldiers "wimps" and said that "the whole point of being in the Army is going to war and getting yourself blown up."

i think he's entitled to his opinion, if what he said is in reflection of his opinion that war is just about pointless murder, then i would support him. some soldiers go to war for honourable reasons,  but these days its more of an ego trip for kids

This is coming from a man who blames Hollywood for his lack of rolls. He seems to think it is because he is gay. What he fails to realize is that he sucks! He's just another random Hollywood moron who seems to think people care about their opinion.
