There are only two things I miss about not having kids. They make great free slave laborers and when we are old, we have no one to check up on the nursing home every month to make sure we are not being abused.
My gf had a surgery when she was very young that likely rendered her unable to have a child. Therefore, we talked about it and we would choose to adopt later on in life. There are plenty of children in this country alone who need a loving, caring home.
I'd like to adopt a sister for Persephone someday.

I know I want more than one kid, so I would adopt the others, but I think there's something special about having a child of your own.
