i think single women (as in single and not been married yet with someone else even before) can be happy by their own way of happiness especially with friends and family... but i might say that they're still incomplete because they dont have yet experience having a lifetime commitment with someone and looking forward for her future family....
Can they be happy? I suppose. Are they as happy as married women in their 30's? Probably not. I live in a big city and I know quite a few 'freemales'. Their happiness seems forced and I sense they feel a lack of purpose. Career can only offer you so much. I find that both men and women have this in common.
i'm a late bloomer. I never really wanted to grow up. I got my license at 23, moved out at 26...so the fact that i'm not married yet at 31 doesn't surprise me. I don't live by others timelines. when i feel it is the right time...it'll be the right time...in the meantime i'm no more happy, sad, angry, crazy than anyone else.
I think that a person can achieve happiness under any arbitrary set of circumstances. That being said, happiness is elusive. It only comes to people who try to have a good attitude about their life.
once upon a time i was a happy single woman over 30......if a person can not be happy by themselves and feel they need someone to make them happy....i'd say there were some underlying issues they suffer from.....
"Any arbitrary set of circumstances?" You have GOT to be kidding. Pardon me, but I don't think you've seen enough circumstances.
You can't base happiness on marital status.
