New York Times reports Russian leader Vladimir Putin has now forbidden TV stations to air any broadcast in which anyone criticizes him, or his government. TV stations are now forced to digitally erase Putin critics from a broadcast in order to be allowed to air it, and a long list of unwanted personalities that are banned from appearing on TV is issued by the state.
In this photo from the New York Time article, you can see a digitally manipulated still off of a Russian TV show, in which the body of a Putin critic has been removed (the legs, however, are still showing).
I feel so bad for them. And to think I actually thought Putin was a nice leader. But you know what, maybe it would be best to hear this kind of news from a russian... they know what's going on on ther country better than we do.
