Tatum O'Neal was caught buying crack

Actress Tatum O'Neal, who is best known as a child actor, and the youngest actress to date to have won the Oscar award (for her role in Paper Moon in which she played along her father, actor Ryan O'Neil), was caught buying crack cocaine last night in Manhattan. The actress, 44, had a crack pipe in her belongings when she was busted.

In O'Neal's best selling memoir, A Paper life, the actress defines herself as someone who has drink and drug-taking in her DNA.
