Quitting the church just to save his image throws up some red flags for me. IMO he agrees with what the preacher has to say but knows he has to quit the church in order to gain the popular vote. Mighty suspicious!
I would have much more respect for him if he stuck to his beliefs and stayed w the church instead of scrurrying off. I don't have to agree with someone to respect that they have convictions.

I think that he should not have left his church. I'm still going to vote for him though, if he gets the nomination.
