I agree. I don't see how luring something with a brain the size of a pea with food is a challenge. It's like me offering a toddler a cookie and celebrating that I got him to take it.

What a shame.  This creature may have been hundreds of years old -- possibly benefiting from uniquely longevity among its species.  Then some guy killed it for sport.  I'm sure it's quite a victory for him, but that fish might have represented a much greater victory by continuing to live.
