Well now, where do I start?  I am 58 and have all my teeth but 2 in the back.  I don't believe any person in their right mind would seek any person of any profession to pull perfectly good teeth...However, if I run into such a fool, I willl pass your valuable information to them....SHEEEEEEEESH

Denists are not in the business to remove teeth good, bad or otherwise.  They are in the business of fixing a tooth/teeth no matter how long and drawn out the process may be (and bankrupting).  On the other hand, an oral surgeon doesn't have the same qualms as a dentist, so if it's really an issue for you, then maybe you are seeking help from the wrong person.
