I've done things like that at the Grand Canyon, too. Sometimes those hoodoos really get in your view.

This picture makes me sweat. he's a brave and stupid man
I suspect he isn't actually jumping over a 3000ft abyss, but the angle of the shot makes it look that way. However, he's still dumb for doing this.
