tomaito / tomato : I spent a great deal of my life living in London and even with my accent I've always pronounced that word as 'ant'. I thing depends on how you've learned how to pronounce it dispite the way you speak your English

Tia - Spanish For Aunt. Otherwise I pronounce it "ant"

If it was supposed to be pronounced ANT or OWNT or ONT, why is in spelled with an 'AU' anyway.  Is that French or something . .  Hee, hee, hee.
