I love to hang mine in the summer as not to overheat the house and yes the sheets do smell good. I don't do it to save on energy but I may start if someone doesn't do something about the gas prices. I also do it because it reminds me of my childhood
I hope I don't sound too trailer trash, but I live in a really small apartment in Sao Paulo, and I need to hang my clothes to dry somewhere, right? My nosy neighbours (mostly bored housewives in their 40s) are always complaining! What should I do then? Hang my clothes in THEIR apartment?

There is nothing better than the smell of sheets that have been dried outside...however, the people 'round here would have a cow if we did that! Gasp!

I have a clothesline in the back yard. It is great for sleeping bags and sheets blankets and other clothes during nice weather.
I hang my close out All year round. Stuff the neighbours, natures gift is a blessing!
