It depends on what the definition of 'traditional' is . . .? "consisting of or derived from tradition" By breaking tradition, it threatens 'traditional' marriage. The question of whether or not the tradition should be broken - is a seperate question. Personally, I don't understand why people feel they need the Church and/or State to give them a seal-of-approval. Can't we just allow for Civil Unions and give Civil Unions the same rights as Marriages - without redifining the traditional marriage? Maybe? Perhaps?

If the United States had Universal Health Care, that would eliminate the discrimination that occurs with most employer-based health insurance. IMHO
