It's one of my few pet peeves. Doesn't matter if it's a dress or a bikini. It's still cutting it up. I'm not saying it isn't protected under free speech. The question was only if it is desecration. It can be wrong yet still protected.
If you read the US Code on the flag, it should never be made in the form of cothes etc. I really hate it when I see people wearing the flag as a cape etc. Also when boxers are made to look like the flag, after all I don't want to see my flag being worn on someones ass....
It's not even a flag. It's a blue bodice with a white star pattern with a red and white stripped skirt.

I honestly can't decide...I do know that it would take some serious guts to wear that dress...

No it's not. It's clearly not a real flag that was cut up and sewn back together. (haha, I hope you've seen the movie "Dick", Eng.)
