New Italian equal opportunity minister, Mara Carfagna, is a former sexy calendar model


Mara Carfagna, a former model, was sworn in as a new minister for the Italian govermnet, in charge of equal opportunities. Just a few days after her formal reception, pictures from old sexy calendars Mara Carfagna did, started flooding the web.

The man who gave Carfagna the job is Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi, a renowned 71 year old playboy. Carfagna, 33, also competed in the Miss Italy contest in 97, only to finish sixth.

For instance, US has plenty of celebrity and people from all walks of life in politics...judge her by her accomplishments..the only problem i have is that men will be distracted fromt the business of the day, while imaging their noses buried in crotch.

Why would her having been a model have anything at all to do with her ability as a public servant?

She's not MY cup of tea (her face is all angles, and her ribs are showing,) but Ms. Carfagna's past as a model shouldn't have any bearing on her political career. I'm glad that she has been given this opportunity.
