I got a paper route when I was 8. I think it chewed up something like 3 hours a day. I started doing yard work on weekends around 10 years old, and started babysitting around that age, too. I don't really remember playing games with other kids, since my language skills weren't great at that age, and my parents were part of a fringe religion.
