What model of social connection would you want to see on polls boutique?


Currently, polls boutique offers pollster connections: anyone can add you as a pollster and get your polls on their pollster feed. It's the same kind of "friendship" model offered in flickr and twitter.

Lately though, we're thinking about a social network model where one user "requests" friendship from the other, and has to be confirmed to be his friend (like on myspace and facebook).

On the internet as in life in general, I don't necessarily need to be friends with everybody.  I mean, yes, I'm here to make friends, but I don't want to be friends with the psychos of the world...this idea could prevent some potential abuses of the current system...IMO

It's nice to meet new people and make new friends.  Friendship is not a fixed quantity :)
