We may see a Female President in our lifetime; we may see an African-American President. But will we see a Homosexual President?

Uh.... no. I like having SOME kind of news, even if journalism is so very flawed (as it is today.)

I hate that people think sexual orientation, race, gender and other such things matter.  Wouldn't life be more fun without the media?!

If you think you're qualified, then do it. This is America.

Buchannan was the first known homosexual president.  The families of both Buchannan and his lover, had their love letters destroyed.  Not only was he a bachelor, he didn't like being in the company of young ladies.  He did acknowledge the benefits of marriage to an older woman who could take care of domestic chores and such.

I'm considering a run in 2012.

Isn't he supected mostly because he's the only President to remain a bachelor? (I think this is true; you may have to check me on that.)

Buchannan is suspected of having been a homosexual. He did spend, what, 17? 19? years sharing a room with his favorite senator from Alabama.

We don't even have marriage rights for homosexuals, so I highly doubt this will happen any time soon, but then again, who knows what the future holds?
